要求復建居屋 凍結公屋租金

公民黨於今日(22日)下午到房委會總部外請願，要求復建居屋及凍結公屋租金，有數十名請願人士出席，當中包括公民黨關注房屋政策小組行動召集人梁玉鳳、公民黨立法會議員梁家傑﹑公民黨九東支部主席余冠威、郭家麒醫生及一眾地區發展者，並將市民就復建居屋的簽名遞交予房委會資助房屋小組委員會主席張炳良。

公民黨於過去數月就「要求政府適量復建居屋」進行了簽名運動，共收集了429個支持復建居民市民的簽名，其中新界區有272個市民簽名，而九龍區共有157個。

公民黨認為，現時物價上漲，公屋居民生活於困境當中，一旦上調公屋租金，必定增加公屋居民的生活負擔，故此公民黨強烈要求房委會考慮凍結公屋租金。

是次行動召集人梁玉鳳指出，政府於房屋政策上缺乏長遠的策略，如以往都曾經有計劃過若干比例的自置居所；另外，政府應考慮在房屋政策中更有效增加房屋的流動性，以改善市民生活，復建居屋便是一個合適改善生活的階梯。居屋由過往到現在都有一定的存在價值，從資源運用的角度，居屋比公屋更有效幫助市民達到置業安居的目的。
