要求教局徹查英藝無牌辦學 反對地產霸權入侵幼教界

就天水圍嘉湖山莊德怡中英文幼稚園因續租遭拒而被迫停辦一事，本人認為事件反映地產霸權已侵入幼教界，不斷增加的租金導致多間營運水平不倃的幼稚園被迫停辦，令人難以接受。本人認為教育局必須正視有關問題，保障學生接受教育的權利和家長的合理權益。

 

本人亦接獲德怡幼稚園的家長投訴，指將於下學年於德怡幼稚園原校舍營運的英藝幼稚園並未獲教育局發出註冊牌照，卻已開始收生並要求家長繳交註冊費及書簿費。本人遂已去函教育局局長，要求教育局調查有關違規情況，並審慎審批英藝幼稚園的牌照申請。

本人昨晚曾與德怡校方及家長會面，亦曾提出運用鄰近德怡幼稚園的一間空置的小學校舍供德怡臨時運作。本人認為教育局應該考慮有關安排。長遠而言，教育局必須處理幼稚園校舍的問題，以配合免費幼稚園教育政策的推行。
