要求暫緩青嶼幹線雙向收費安排

就青嶼幹線大嶼山及馬灣收費廣場實施雙向收費後，今天首個工作日惹起混亂，造成交通嚴重擠塞。公民黨對事件表示關注。立法會議員郭家麒及譚文豪，已聯署去信運輸及房屋局局長陳帆，要求局方暫緩青嶼幹線大嶼山及馬灣收費廣場雙向收費的安排，避免擠塞情況於明日再次發生。
立法會議員郭家麒今日亦與運輸署署理署長李萃珍女士表達暫緩收費的要求。惟署方拒絕有關安排，認為增加一個收費通道已能解決擠塞情況。郭家麒對此表示失望。
立法會議員譚文豪亦認為，當局今早沒有即時叫停收費安排是沒有承擔、沒有膽量、官僚主義的表現。譚亦認為收費所得收益，是無法彌補交通嚴重擠塞所造成的經濟損失。
郭家麒與譚文豪認為，立法會早於2013年於財委會批出81,300,000 元重置廣場的收費系統，而事隔4年，運輸署仍未做好全盤準備下，急於推行雙向收費安排，是不負責任。
公民黨亦去信要求局方交代，運輸署在實行雙向收費安排前，有否進行汽車流量與收費通道的數目評估，以及繁忙時間做成交通擠塞的可能性，以及收費亭工程是否有延誤等。
