要求環境局局長詳細解釋南丫島油污事件

今天，傳媒廣泛報道，南丫島石排灣石灘上沾滿油污，而海事處早於上周五接報，知悉東澳灣受油污污染，已聯同食物環境衞生署於過去三天清理上址，市民大眾卻被蒙在鼓裡。就此，公民黨已就以下問題，去信環境局局長：－

（一） 當局於何時得悉油污事件?為何沒有立即向公眾公佈事件？
（二） 當局派遣食物環境衞生署人員清理油污，是否符合政府既定政策？
（三） 是次油污事件是否涉及船隻意外？當局的調查進度為何？當局會否調查肇事船隻人員？
（四） 受油污事件影響的區域面積為何？當局有否評估油污對當地生態及漁業的影響？當局會否向公眾發表報告？

事關重大，本人希望環境局局長嚴肅處理上述問題，並儘快向公眾交代事件。
