要求立即檢討旅館業條例

民政局 後知後覺 反應遲鈍
公民黨要求立即檢討旅館業條例

公民黨立法會議員陳家洛，今早聯同多位公民黨東區區議員及地區成員前往政府總部請願，並向民政事務局遞交請願信，要求民政事務局立即檢討規管旅館的法例，並向公眾發放更多相關的資料，協助受旅館發牌決定影響的居民提出上訴要求。

陳家洛表示香港作為旅遊城市，對酒店和旅館的房間需求殷切，但這不能影響居民的生活和安全。他要求民政事務局立即檢討《旅館業條例》，在審批旅館牌照申請時同時考慮地契和公契條款的規定，以保障業主及居民。他又要求政府當局加強宣傳，告知市民可根據《旅館業條例》第13條就旅館發牌決定提出上訴。陳家洛表示若民政事務局未能於第一季內提出法例的修訂建議，他將考慮以私人條例草案的形式提出相關修訂。

港島東區黎志強區議員表示若不處理非法旅館問題將會令香港國際形象受損，要求相關的政府官員盡其本份處理有關問題。梁兆新區議員表示政府應該向業主及業主立案法團並管理公司提供更多資料。公民黨地區幹事吳彥強則提出他作為業主立案法團主席，從來未有接獲有關資料，認為政府當局必須加強資料的發放。

民政事務局局長在立法會會議上回應就旅館業規管提出的質詢時，表示「正計劃」公開旅館牌照的申請資料和續牌申請詳情，主動向業主立案法團和管理公司通報上述資料，陳家洛表示這反映民政事務局「後知後覺、反應遲鈍」，只是必需改善的一小部份，促請政府當局盡快完成法例的檢討工作。
