要求醫院管理局於農曆新年期間加強門診服務

近日，H3N2瑞士型流感在本港肆虐，截至2月16日，已有超過210人死亡，及高達300人須進入深切治療部。但有專家指出，流感高峰期會持續至三月。但政府自疫情爆發至今，仍然沒有任何對策防止病毒蔓延，令死亡數字不斷上升，市民對政府麻木不仁，感到失望及憤怒。
但本周正值農曆新年，如當局沒有妥善應對措施，會大幅增加醫院及急症室壓力，及延誤病人診治。
可是，根據政府補充資料，大年初一只有不足40名私家醫生應診；而大年初二只有不足70名私家醫生。但現時全港平日有二千個家庭醫生應付八萬個症，但醫院管理局只承諾於周日增加一千五百個門診名額，實在是杯水車薪，難以保障市民健康。
就此，本人已致函醫管局行政總裁，在沒有私家醫生開診的地區，及有較多基層市民居住的地區（例如深水埗、天水圍及東涌）增設假日門診服務；本人亦要求於急症室加設診所，專門診治發燒病人，防止他們的病情惡化。
