警方無視私隱 食環執法不力 要求立法會事務委員會跟進

個人資料私隱專員今天公開批評警方處理個人資料私隱的程序有所不足，包括因警員違失記事簿或定額罰款單而導致市民的個人資料外洩。另一方面，申訴專員亦發表調查報告，批評食環署未有針對違規的冰鮮肉食店採取執法行動，數年來僅發出極少的口頭警告和警告信，更未有因肉食店違規貯存冰鮮肉而暫停或吊銷有關的經營執照。本人對上述兩宗事件均表示不滿和關注，認為市民的私隱和食物安全必須獲得更好的保障。

本人己經就上述兩則事宜去信立法會相關的事務委員會，即保安事務委員會及食物安全及環境衛生事務委員會，建議兩位委員會主席以委員會名義要求政府當局提交相關資料，供委員考慮是否需要召開會議作出跟進。本人促請政府當局盡快提供相關資料，並切實回應和跟進申訴專員和私隱專員的意見及建議。
