郭家麒報名參加2020年立法會換屆選舉

公民黨新界西立法會議員郭家麒，今日上午遞交提名表格，報名2020年立法會換屆選舉地區，爭取於新界西連任。

郭家麒表示，當下香港，困難之際。國安法成為香港人的緊箍咒。但感謝61萬名香港人，上星期勇敢走出來投票。即使面對政權全方位打壓，仍無畏無懼地以票明志，對政權作出抗議，展示香港人的頑強意志。他亦同時感謝1.3萬多位選民對他的認同。

他表示，反送中運動中，看到香港年青人抗爭遭受警暴；而醫護同僚在武漢肺炎疫情下，要求「封關救港」而罷工被秋後算帳。看見香港被破壞、政權保皇黨為了私利出賣香港；而香港人從未放棄抗爭、放棄追求自由。

去年因議會抗爭而被政治檢控，下月上庭，郭家麒表示絕不會因為政權的威嚇而退縮。他以「香港人 誓不為奴」作為選舉口號，指如果香港人在中共港共政權前屈服，只會一生為奴。

他希望香港人積極於9月6日投票，並相信香港人充滿智慧，會懂得如何以手上一票，成就民主派35+，議會過半。
