郭家麒議員就要求立即停止進口東莞活雞去信食物及衞生局

鑒於昨日內地農業部公布東莞一雞場證實有雞隻樣本對H7N9病毒呈陽性反應，就此，郭家麒議員去信食物及衛生局局長高永文，要求立即停止進口東莞活雞，信件副本如下。

要求立即停止進口東莞活雞


昨日，內地農業部公布，廣東、山東及江西均有雞隻樣本驗出帶有H7N9病毒。當中一個來自廣東省東莞東城三鳥批發市的雞隻樣本，經國家禽流感參考實驗室證實對H7N9測試呈陽性反應。

公民黨十分關注事件，國家衛計委和世界衛生組織於今年3月31日公佈確診人類感染H7N9禽流感首宗病例後，確診人數不斷上升，至昨日已有129宗確診個案，當中27人死亡。

而昨日首次於廣東發現H7N9病毒，病毒明顯逐漸迫近本港。就此，為市民的安全著想，公民黨呼籲立即暫停由東莞或其他有雞隻感染H7N9病毒的地區輸入活雞。希望政府能從善如流，保障市民的健康。如有任何垂詢，煩請致電2677 6877 與本人聯絡。特此致函，順祝
