郭榮鏗參與2020年立法會法律界選舉

現任立法會（法律界）議員郭榮鏗今日（2020年7月20日）報名參與2020年立法會法律界換屆選舉，競逐連任。
過去8年，作為立法會法律界議員，郭榮鏗竭盡所能維護民主、自由、人權和法治。他相信法律界和香港市民會肯定他在議會內外付出的努力。未來的日子，香港的民主、自由、人權和法治的情況悲觀。郭榮鏗會堅持我們的核心價值，與法律界和香港市民一同尋找我們的出路。
被問到會否擔心被取消參選資格，郭榮鏗認為擔心不來，他會視乎選舉主任就其參選資格提出甚麼問題，再作回應。
至於會否簽署確認書，郭榮鏗明言會簽署，並會連同提名表格一同遞交。他指出，大部份市民期望民主派能夠在今次選舉中爭取最多議席，在這個大前提下，他要盡力確保自己能夠參選，以免辜負市民期望。同時，他知悉專業議政競逐連任的議員，以及參與其他傳統功能組別的參選人都會簽署確認書，郭榮鏗會簽署確認書，以示團結。
