關注台山核電站組件破裂 要求保安局盡快適切跟進

今天，傳媒廣泛報道，距離本港只有130公里的台山核電站，其中一個發電組件在測試期間破裂。公民黨立法會議員陳淑莊關注，台山核電站近年發生一連串事故，是否反映出現制度性問題，將去信保安局儘快跟進。
陳淑莊指出早於去年5月，台山核電站的法國生產商Areva已爆出偽造測試結果醜聞，該公司承認在過去50多年，修改了400件組件的測試結果；另外，Areva的子公司Creusot Forge負責生產台山核電站的反應堆壓力容器，但法國核安全局於去年發現，其產品的碳含量超標，有容易脆裂及導致核洩漏之虞。
台山核電站原訂於今年下半年內投產，但現在仍處於測試階段，中廣核集團卻一直沒有透露如何控制組件質素。陳淑莊將致函要求保安局向內地負責機構查詢，就台山核電站過去已進行測試的部份，其測試性質，以及已進行測試組件的比例，並盡快向公眾交代結果。
