關注本地日本腦炎個案事宜

衞生防護中心證實，一名於屯門黃金海岸附近宿舍居住的36歲男子，於上月28日出現發燒、頭痛及嘔吐等症狀，兩日後往屯門醫院急症室求診後出院，本月1日開始出現言語不清及抽筋等症狀，再次到屯門醫院求診。

本個案為本港今年第3宗日本腦炎個案。患者於病症僭伏期間沒有外遊，相信於本地受到感染。之前兩宗個案的患者分別居於天水圍天恒邨及元朗菁雅苑。

對於連續出現三宗本地感染個案，顯示傳播日本腦炎的三帶喙庫蚊十分活躍，亦顯示政府防止蚊患的措施並不足夠。就此，公民黨立法會議員郭家麒要求政府，立即加強滅蚊工作，及進行特別的措施防止蚊患，包括清除雜草、改善路面不平情況以預防積水。

同時，郭家麒亦提醒市民，做好防蚊措施，蚊子於黃昏至黎明時分最為活躍，因此這段時間應避免前往郊外；如有呼吸道感染徵狀或疑慮，請盡快求醫。
