關注甲型肝炎個案大幅上升事宜

衛生防護中心今年接獲甲型肝炎個案大幅上升，今年至今共收到六十四宗個案，其中十九人曾進食莓類，八人曾進食藍莓。個案數字遠超2012、2013及2014年的全年數字43、44及46宗。

同時，本港市民發現於網絡媒體、甚至whatsapp等流傳，指有人確診甲型肝炎，但並沒有外遊或進食海鮮等生冷食品。加上澳洲曾於今年二月出現多宗因進食一款中國進口的冷藏雜莓而導至甲型肝炎。事件令市民十分擔憂。

為保障公眾健康，公民黨立法會議員郭家麒已就此去信立法會食物安全及環境衛生事務委員會，要求召開特別會議跟進，及去信食物安全中心專員，要求加強抽查及檢驗進口的藍莓及雜莓等蔬果類產品，以確定乎合香港的食物安全標準。有關信件隨此新聞稿發出，敬請傳媒參閱。
