關注立法會補選確認書安排

對於選管會公布明年3月舉行的立法會補選，公民黨五名立法會議員：楊岳橋、郭家麒、郭榮鏗、陳淑莊及譚文豪聯署去信主席馮驊法官，表達對是次選舉的關注。

在2016年立法會選舉中，選舉事務處要求候選人，在法定的提名表格以外，另須簽署確認書。公民黨認為做法絕不合理，亦極具爭議。選舉事務處如同僭建選舉條例及選舉程序，篩選立法會參選人，影響了選舉的公平公正性。我們絕不能接受確認書成為選舉常規。

我們要求選舉管理委員會盡快解釋及交代，選舉事務處在是次補選中，會否要求參選人填寫確認書；以及在日後的選舉，確認書是否成為選舉常規。我們亦要求就上述事項與馮驊會面，表達我們的關注。
