無視清晰訴求 拒絕兌現承諾
促教育局立即承諾推行免費幼教

逾百名關注香港學前教育的個人及團體代表在今天的立法會教育事務委員會會議上，表達極為清晰和一致的意見，要求政府當局立即兌現特首的競選承諾，盡快落實免費幼稚園教育，本人十分感謝各出席的個人和團體代表的努力。對於教育局局長在會上僅強調會在本屆政府任期內完成免費幼稚園教育的可行性研究，並無表明於何時落實免費幼稚園教育，本人感到極度失望。

本人要求教育局局長立即交代落實推行免費幼稚園教育的時間表，並提出負責研究有關政策推行方式的委員會的研究範圍、職能和組成。本人期望有關委員會必須包含不同的持分者，並就研究範圍廣泛收集社會意見。

為開展免費幼稚園教育政策的深入研究，本人將向全港所有幼稚園發出問卷，收集各間學校的營運數據資料。本人盼望各幼稚園負責人可以踴躍回應有關問卷，提供有用的資料，支持整項政策研究的進行。本人將繼續與所有幼師及家長站在一起，爭取盡快落實十五年免費教育。
