陳家洛促教育局處理國際學校問題

正視問題核心  跟進刻不容緩
促教育局處理國際學校問題

教育局局長在今天的立法會會議上，回應本人提出有關國際學校的口頭質詢以及其他議員提出的補充口頭質詢時，並沒有正面回應最核心的問題，包括蒙特梭利國際學校的永久校址問題以及香港國際學校學位供求規劃問題，本人促請政府必須正視現時國際學校學額不足的問題，並採取即時和積極的跟進措施。本人認為：

1. 蒙特梭利國際學校經歷多次搬遷(十年內搬遷三次)，極度需要尋找一個永久校址，教育局在考慮分配校舍予國際學校時，應該詳細考慮蒙特梭利國際學校對永久校舍的迫切需要，作出合理和公正的決定。

2. 政府當局未能掌握因國際學校學位不足而被迫在本地學校就讀的外地學生的數目並不合理，因為沒有上述的數字，政府根本不可能就國際學校學位的供求進行全面的規劃。

3. 政府表示已委託顧問檢視現時國際學校學額的供應及預計未來的供求情況，預計在本年年底完成，希望政府能公開此顧問報告予公眾參考。
