陳家洛就廣東台山核電廠事宜去信政務司司長

廣東台山核電廠事宜

根據傳媒報道，廣東省台山市的核電廠即將落成投產，但該核電廠採用的新技術卻遭學者批評指存在相當大的安全隱患。報道指同樣採用有關技術興建核電廠的歐洲國家，即使較台山核電廠更早動工興建，至今仍因未解決安全問題而投產無期。本人認為根據上述報道，市民對台山核電廠將產生相當大的疑慮。

自日本福島核事故發生後，香港社會普遍存在對核能使用的疑慮，若廣東台山的核電廠投產，再加上廣東省其他的核電項目，將對香港構成一定的風險。為此，本人特致函  閣下，建議政府當局盡快與廣東省相關部門聯繫，索取更多有關台山核電廠的更詳細資料，以進行全面的風險評估。本人更期望政府當局完成有關風險評估後，向公眾公佈評估結果及相關的應急方案建議。

鑒於市民普遍關注香港鄰近地區的核安全問題，盼望  閣下能認真考慮本人的建議，並盡快作出適當的跟進。謝謝！
