陳家洛就統計處事件去信申訴專員公署

黎專員：

就統計處人員涉造假事件進行調查

早前有統計處員工向傳媒揭發政府統計處內部出現涉嫌造假的情況，政府統計處處長亦已公開表示會在部門內部成立小組進行調查，惟本人認為由政府統計處進行內部調查，未必能夠釋除社會對部門已經產生的質疑。本人認為上述事件應交由一個獨立的機構進行全面的調查，才能取信於公眾，徹底釋除疑慮。

為此，本人特致函  閣下，因應上述事件性質屬於政府部門處事失當，建議申訴專員公署就政府統計處涉嫌造假事件進行主動調查，找出事件的實情和成因，並作出適當的建議，以及向公眾公開有關的調查報告。

盼望  閣下能詳細考慮本人的建議，並盡快作出跟進。如有任何垂詢，煩請與本人聯絡。順祝
