陳家洛查詢灣仔運動場及掃桿埔運動場問題

灣仔運動場及掃桿埔運動場問題

在今天舉行的立法會民政事務委員會會議上，  閣下提出在啟德運動城項目完成後，會檢討灣仔運動場所在地段的土地用途，並以未來的掃桿埔運動場取代灣仔運動場，作為港島區主要的體育設施。不少港島區的地區人士和體育界，均相當關注灣仔運動場的前途，因該處為香港其中一個設備完善的田徑場地。為此，本人特致函  閣下，查詢政府當局是否已就掃桿埔運動場的計劃以及灣仔運動場的處理訂立具體方案。若有，有關的詳情是甚麼？

公民黨曾於2009年8月中去信香港島百多間中學、田徑總會及學界田徑第一組別的學校進行問卷調查，收集其對搬遷灣仔運動場的意見。據當時收回的十七份問卷，結果顯示百分之七十一的受訪學校均支持保留灣仔運動場，而百分之六十五的受訪學校對加路連山道可能成為運動場新選址的安排表示「不滿意」。

人口過百萬的香港島，體育設施足襟見肘，灣仔運動場的任何改動都必定引起區內居民和全港體育界的關注，盼望  閣下能盡快回應上述查詢。如有任何垂詢，煩請與本人聯絡。順祝
