陳家洛約見特首要求討論政治問責官員利益申報機制

行政長官  ：

檢討政治問責官員利益申報機制

 

發展局局長被發現其直系親屬持有位於新界東北新發展區的土地，但有關利益並沒有作
出申報。本人認為陳茂波局長是負責新界東北發展政策的問責官員，理應對此項家庭成
員擁有的權益及時作出申報。陳局長被指存在利益衝突，表明現行的問責官員利益申報
機制極可能出現制度性的漏洞。為此，本人特致函  閣下，約見  閣下、政務司司長及
政制及內地事務局局長，討論政治問責官員的利益申報機制，探討有關機制是否需要作
出修訂。

 

陳局長可能涉及利益衝突，明顯地已對特區政府的公信力構成進一步的影響，更可能使
民望偏低的特區政府支持度進一步下挫，直接影響施政效果和效率。盼望   閣下能盡快
回應本人的約見要求，並從根本檢視現行的利益申報制度，釋除市民的疑慮。如有任何
