陳家洛要求交代出售城大專上學院事宜

就傳媒報導香港城市大學有意出售城大專上學院一事，本人感到相當震驚，此舉無疑是香港教育商品化情況進一步惡化的明證。出售城大專上學院必然會令該院校的教職員、學生以及申請入讀該院校的應屆中學畢業生受到相當嚴重的影響，整個專上教育界亦肯定會出現結構性的不穩定因素。

本人促請香港城市大學校董會及管理層立即向公眾，特別是城大專上學院的師生以及擬入讀該院校的中學畢業生清晰及全面交代出售院校的具體情況，以及如何處理因出售而衍生的問題，包括教職員的工作和薪津安排、學生使用院校設施、課程認證、畢業銜接及獲頒資歷等安排，以及新學年入學的學生的情況等。本人認為香港城市大學在採取任何行動前必須先就上述各項作出詳細交代和安排。本人已去信香港城市大學校董會主席表達有關訴求。

本人亦認為教育局在是次出售院校事宜中絕對責無旁貸，必須積極作出跟進。城大專上學院開辦課程的資格完全附屬於香港城市大學，若有關學院遭出售，其開辦課程的資格勢將受到影響，教育局作為監管香港各教育機構的政府機關，實在需要更主動地維護可能受影響的師生的合理權益。本人促請教育局立即跟進此事，亦已去信教育局局長提出有關要求
