陳家洛要求政府跟進各方責任 盡快落實建議 盼最終全面公開南丫島海難報告

政府當局今天公佈南丫島海難的獨立調查委員會報告，惟由於兩名涉事的船長的刑事檢控程序仍在進行中，故有關兩名船長的責任的部份將暫不公開。本人認為基於公眾的知情權，以及進行調查的目的是找尋真相和提出建議，避免日後發生類似事件，本人盼望政府當局最終能全面公開報告的全文。本人亦認為：

1.    調查報告對海事處、船公司及船隻製造商等的責任均有說明，政府當局及業界必須詳細研究調查報告內容和結論，一旦發現有任何人士或機構涉及違法、違規或行政失當等行為，均應作出嚴肅的跟進；

2.    政府當局盡快成立具公信力的委員會，全面落實調查報告的建議，並就各項工作的落實時間訂立時間表，亦應就海上安全向市民提供更多訊息，進行公眾教育和推廣，避免同類事件再次發生；

3.    政府當局決定今年暫停國慶煙花匯演是適當的做法，既表示對海難中遇難者和其家人的尊重，也讓全港市民有機會對是次海難的遇難者進行悼念；

本人亦在此再一次向南丫島海難的罹難者表示哀悼，並向其家人及事件中的傷者表示慰問。
