青少年吸食毒品情況問卷發佈
公民黨今日公佈有關市民對青少年吸食毒品情況的問卷調查結果，結果顯示七成五市民同意現時學生吸毒的情況嚴重，近一成七受訪市民回應認識吸食毒品的同學。
六成三受訪者認為「政府加強執法及刑罰，打擊毒品根來源」較能有效處理青少年吸食毒品之方法，較認為「校園自願驗毒計劃」有效的數字相若。
調查結果發現有逾九成市民只聽聞「校園自願驗毒計劃」，但當中卻有五成人未有知悉該計劃的內容，更有七成以上的受訪者認為政府在禁毒工作上的公眾咨詢並不足夠。
而根據問卷調查的結果，社會對全面實施強制性校園驗毒計劃有很大保留，其中五成市民認為應以自願性質進行，選擇強制性的只佔三成。而且，受訪市民認為政府必須處理人權、法律和執法方面的問題。
公民黨認為，調查結果反映市民對政府在青少年吸食毒品情況這方面的工作成效存在很多疑問，特別對「校園驗毒計劃」有不少憂慮。
調查在7月，分別在葵芳、荃灣、九龍塘及天水圍共四區訪問了578名學生及家長，其中368名受訪市民年齡介乎11至20歲。
