預防勝於補救 必須改善疫苗計劃

公民黨立法會議員郭家麒認為，歡迎政府撥出5億元，但形容只是政府沒有投放足夠資源予公營醫療服務的「贖罪券」。

他認為5億元的資助，不能夠改變現時流感嚴重的問題。至今累計10 宗兒童嚴重流感個案，患者均無接種四價流感疫苗。香港的流感疫苗接種率仍然偏低。現時香港兒童的季節性流感疫苗接種率16.7%，與其他地方相比，香港的接種率顯然較低。對於政府多年來都未有具體建議或行動提高疫苗接種率表示失望。

他認為香港的流感疫苗接種率不理想，源於政府「愛理不理」的態度，未有積極鼓勵市民，特別是高危人士接種疫苗。他指出，疫苗需要預早訂購，政府現時呼籲病人往私家診所打針，而私家診所根本沒有足夠存貨供應予市民。

郭家麒認為，政府應在流感季節開始前，安排人手到社區及學校，登記有意接種疫苗的長者及學生人數，以便訂購足夠的疫苗。「如果政府在今年的夏季流感季節，都不改變注射疫苗的計劃，現時流感嚴重的問題，只會重覆上演。政府只能事後做補救工作。」
