領事閉門拒見 形同傷口灑鹽 促請菲國總領事會見人質事件死傷者家屬

多名菲律賓人質事件中的傷者及死難者家屬，今晨到菲律賓駐港總領事館遞交請願信，菲總領事不但未有接見，總領事館更未有派員接收請願信。本人認為菲總領館的回應完全是不尊重事件中的受害者，完全不能接受，並就此表達強烈不滿。為此，本人已致函菲律賓駐港總領事，要求菲律賓總領事與人質事件中的傷者及死難者家屬會面。另一方面，本人亦於日前致函菲律賓天主教樞機主教，要求菲律賓的天主教會關懷人質事件中的家屬的情況。本人敦促香港特區政府更積極地透過官方及民間不同渠道，協助人質事件的受害者討回公道。
