齊敲響警鐘
呼籲增加婦女健康中心

政府經常強調重視市民健康，但從現有的婦女健康中心及母嬰健康院的數目可見，政府根本完全忽視婦女健康的需要。上年度，在婦女健康中心及有提供婦女健康服務的母嬰健康院輪候作身體檢查的婦女，最長需要等候四個月，實在令人難以接受。

事實上，本港目前為止，只有三間婦女健康中心，分別於柴灣、藍田及屯門，另有提供婦女健康服務的母嬰健康院亦只有十間。而於2011年，共有19,500名婦女作出登記，並有36,000名次使用服務，包括婦女身體檢查、子宮頸癌、乳癌和其他女性致命疾病的檢查和測試等。然而，相較於本港約379萬名女性人口，只有不足1﹪能在2011年內接受婦女健康中心或有提供婦女健康服務的母嬰健康院的身體檢查服務，情況令人十分憂慮。

為此，公民黨健康及生活質素支部，今天在銅鑼灣街頭展開「敲響警鐘」運動。我們以敲響警鐘，警示政府必需正視婦女健康需要，並提出以下訴求：

1.      增撥資源，增加婦女健康中心，以達致全港十八區每區均設有中心，以維護本港的婦女健康；
2.      擴展婦女健康中心的服務範圍，除身體及疾病檢查外，提供職業健康、心理諮詢、婦女泌尿科服務等；
3.      加強婦女健康中心的宣傳，讓更多婦女認知應有的健康服務，以能提早發現潛在的疾病，及早作出治療；及
4.      縮短部份必要檢查，如乳線X光造影、超聲波檢查的輪候時間。
