20座小巴三年凍費方案 對抗「不尋常」通脹

公民黨立法會議員湯家驊今早與小巴團體代表約見運輸署及運輸及房屋局，討論調整專線小巴座位上限，承諾凍結小巴車費三年的方案，會面氣氛良好。局方指了解業界的訴求。小巴團體代表會面後提出以下三點：

1. 特首曾蔭權早前指香港正面對「不尋常」通脹壓力，將推出利民紓困措施。 20座小巴三年凍費方案正能紓緩基層市民之苦，並緩解繁忙時間排長龍之況，有利市民大眾，且不涉及任何公帑補助，冀政府為公眾利益作詳盡考慮。

2. 綠色專線小巴總商會及香港專線小巴持牌人協會(簡稱「兩會」)轄下會員均以書面簽字承諾加入計劃，一旦獲批，定當會恪守五項承諾(包括1.凍結車費三年；2.提供不少於八折的長者優惠；3.轉用環保車種(歐盟五型)；4.加裝安全帶；及5.不削減班次)。兩會稍後也會把早前收集到的承諾書送交運輸署作實以釋疑。

3. 市面上已有近百輛可容納二十個座位的「長陣」型小巴，業界可望在三年內全線引入二十座的「長陣」型小巴。屆時，專線小巴均會換上更環保的歐盟五型車種及配置有乘客安全帶。
