綠色經濟 創造就業

公民黨認為普及而平等的選舉制度是促使社會持續發展的政治基石，只有普選，才能讓社會各階層選出心儀的政府，維護其階層的利益。

不過，公民黨認為奠定政治基石之餘，面對金融風暴陰霾未散，政府仍需集中火力創造就業。特首曾蔭權主張的六大產業，均只能令具有專業知識的打工一族受惠，根本無法顧及每每在經濟衰退中飽受失業裁員打擊的低技術工人。因此，公民黨提出「綠色經濟」，為不同階層創造89,000個就業機會。
