公民黨對《熊膽製品輸入香港及在港銷售》綜合意見書

「活熊取膽汁」這門殘忍工業經近年傳媒廣泛報導後，無論在香港、中國大陸、以至世界各地已引起了極大關注。香港及國內的學者、文藝界、動物權益組織和各界知名人士也紛紛出來譴責。而歸真堂在福建申請上市，更令人慨嘆商業社會這種只懂圖利，不顧道德的歪風不知將我們帶往怎樣的境地！

誠然，歸真堂上市是國內的事情，在一國兩制的框架下，香港是無從過問的。然而，歸真堂對於中國的養熊業其實只屬冰山一角，國內大大小小的月熊養殖場多不勝數，上萬隻月熊每天都在受著不能言喻的痛苦！

公民黨動物權益關注組（關注組）知道另有民間動物組織已在其立場書中清楚解釋熊膽藥物絕對有多種相同功效的中藥代替品，故不贅。總之，事實證明，「活熊取膽汁」根本是沒有必要的。
