公民黨就《有關免費電視節目質素和種類的公眾諮詢》 綜合意見書

公民黨對於現時兩家本地免費電視營運商的節目質素及種類表示極度不滿，認為現時情況猶如「海軍鬥水兵」，節目質素差劣及選擇極少。由於免費電視市場缺乏競爭，市民現時被迫二擇其一，公民黨希望藉此諮詢促請政府尊重民意及立法會決議，於三月底前發出新牌照，透過引入競爭，提升電視節目質素和種類多元化。

公民黨希望透過今次公眾諮詢，強烈要求行政長官會同行政會議盡快發出新牌照，善用大氣電波，引入更多服務營運商讓市民選擇，徹底解決免費電視節目質素差劣的問題。
