公民黨就《都市固體廢物收費的擬議落實安排》的意見書

政府公布都市固體廢物收費（下稱廢物收費）的具體安排，包括「按戶按袋」及「按重量」兩種模式，分別針對現時使用食物環境衞生署垃圾收集服務的樓宇及聘用私營廢物收集商的樓宇或處所。目前，香港都市固體廢物人均棄置量達1.39公斤，相關措施或多或少能改變市民生活習慣，達致長遠的減廢目標。儘管如此，政府在《香港資源循環藍圖2013-2022》（下稱資源藍圖）期望2022年或以前，將香港的廢物回收的比例增至55%。公民黨認為在推行廢物收費前，當局有必要加大力度支援本港的回收再造業，增加可回收種類，以配合居民日常生活習慣。
