意見書

公民黨就「為單身人士提供的支援服務」提交意見書

根據統計署的[2016年中期人口報告]，全港人口數目為7,336,600人，撇除喪偶而成為單身的人士1，因為離婚及分居而成為單身的人士分別為301,485及2,874人，佔總人口4.5%，統計數字除了展示本地人口會持續老化之外，報告亦顯示了從未結婚的適婚人士比例在過去十年間有所上升2，在三十至四十九歲的人士中，男性及女性的從未結婚的比例多於30%，顯示單身的趨勢亦會成為未來人口結構的未來狀況。

可惜香港社會信奉以家庭為主軸，對於單身人士的需要是不被重視，很多的政策及措施根本沒有回應社會的變化，令人深以為憾。
