意見書

公民黨就「貧窮線」的綜合建議書

本屆政府成立扶貧委員會後，多次以諸多理由推搪而不立即定出貧窮線，令市民感到政府無誠意並且無正視訂立貧窮線的迫切性。公民黨促請政府儘快與基層市民、民間團體等取得共識，訂立貧窮線。

公民黨認為，政府實有必要盡速訂立貧窮線，以一個客觀明確的指標，協助了解現下貧窮問題的嚴重性，及檢視現有扶貧措施的成效。而訂立貧窮線，亦能協助政府定出一個明確且長遠的扶貧措施。
