意見書

公民黨就「難民兒童及尋求庇護兒童的權利」的意見書

聯合國《兒童權利公約》（《兒童公約》）於1994年適用於香港，而公約中第22條訂明，難民兒童應得到特別保護及援助。然而，《1951年關於難民地位的公約》（《難民公約》）並不適用與香港。政府目前既不會給予任何人庇護，亦不會確認任何人為難民。因此，政府對尋求庇護兒童的支援，有別於《難民公約》的要求。
